Today is our last day biking - to Bilbao - and not a long day.
This was part of the cycle way. It was Sunday. There were so many Basque people out walking this track.
I was pleased Bill led at one point, as I am sure I would not have seen the sign for steps that were hidden on this path.
This would have been the result. (Not my photo.)
It was more pretty coastline.
How demoralising, a runner went past Bill and me going up the hill. Here he is up front. We did eventually pass him.
We got to the edge of Bilbao.
This child seems to enjoy these sculptures.
On the ride into town we had to stop for a triathlon race.
Then we rode by the river.
We stopped for a coffee and a Sunday festival was happening in the road ahead. The rat came from there.
At our hotel for the night, we met with Miguel , gave the bikes back, went to a quick walk . We will visit the Guggenheim Museum tomorrow.
We rested our muscles by watching the Solheim Cup on TV. It was super exciting. 14 games all so the Cup is retained by Europe. Maybe in two years, we could go to this. The crowds look less than the Masters and Ryder Cup.
