We walk to another cafe and pick up the Sunday newspaper. That was the morning. If you don't know where to find a paper in New York, here's a store with them.
Then we walk some more and go to another cafe.
Then prepare ourselves for The Comic Strip. Another walk there through streets of New York.
The Comic Strip is a stand-up comedy place. There was one really good comedian we thought. The funniest thing he said was when he was talking about New Yorkers. He told us about the tourist who was struggling to make his ticket work on the subway. He was putting his ticket in this way and that, but it wasn't working for him. (I could relate to that.) A street person watching him shouts out, “Can you hurry up? I have things to do!”
It reminded me of the woman in the park who kept on complaining to Chris, Bill and I for taking up her path! The Comic Strip was funny in parts and I would go to see again. My photo makes it look like there are only half a dozen people there, but there were about 40.
This from their website was more like it.
