Before the All Blacks play Ireland in the quarterfinal, we explore Tokyo by van with Kenie. We went to Ginza, famous for its shops. I saw this bridal one first.
This is Itoya, 12 floors full of all sorts of stationery. Only Chris went far, to the 8th floor. Annette and I got to the 2nd before time was up.
Chris found a car that matches his shirt.
This looks expensive.
Then it was to the big game - All Blacks v Ireland. We are ready at Ajinomoto Stadium (Tokyo Stadium). Chris organised Kenji to bring us by van, so it was very hassle free getting here. Me, Bill, Annette, Chris, Felicia (took Renee's place, and is a friend of Chris and Renee's from the Hamptons) and Neal. These are fantastic seats. Look how close we are. Thank you Chris.
The drummers were amazing. Here come the teams.
All Blacks.
Ireland.
Neal and me.
We won 46-14. Irish coach Joe Schmidt (from Palmerston North BHS, Ed.) was just behind us as he went down to talk to his players on the pitch.
All Blacks take a bow at the end of the game.
We are all very happy.
